One of a kind pieces, made by one set of hands.

Janesse Russel Bridal designs meld fantastical dreamscapes and inner child joy with thoughtful sophistication.

Each piece begins with the client’s voice at the forefront. Their visions, color palettes and desired evocation of feeling for their wedding is considered in the design process.

Janesse, herself, will guide you through the creative endeavor. You will be an integral part of the design: from sketches to finished garments, resulting in the creation of a highly personalized and couture piece.

  • To begin your journey to a custom bridal accessory, submit an inquiry at the bottom of this page. Janesse will reach out to schedule your first design Zoom call!

  • After your first call with Janesse, you will submit a design deck that includes: pictures of your wedding dress, your wedding’s color palette, measurements and a mood board. Once your deposit is paid and your deck is sent, Janesse will begin to sketch your initial 5-8 digital renderings.

  • Each bride will receive 5-8 individually designed digital renderings of their custom piece. The sketches will include varying fabrics, color-ways, shapes and silhouettes. Once these “mockups” are sent to the bride, they offer feedback to Janesse to help narrow and revise their design. The bride and the designer continue to revise until the piece is just right.

  • Janesse lives in NYC, one of the rulers of modern fashion design. There she has access to high quality and luxury fabrics, trims and beading for your design. Once the final design is created, she begins to source the materials for your bespoke item.

  • Janesse completes almost every element in the design process by hand. She hand-stitches crystals, hot-fixes individual rhinestones, hand-embroiders designs and personal notes, hand-dyes fabric and manipulates metal for adornments like crowns. If you have an idea, Janesse can make it come to life.

  • Each bespoke item can take between one to six months, depending on how intricate the design is. It’s never too early to inquire.
